The message I wanted to spin into the lines of this piece is to use what is already in existence on our planet, instead of producing more. The woman in the drawing is wearing a dress that is emerging from the Earth to represent the abundance of clothing already in circulation. By keeping fashion circular, we can help save the 85% of clothes that end up in a landfill. Personally, I have found SO much enjoyment in thrifting, renting, and re-inventing looks already in my possession. I wish more people understood that you can actually have more fun with your style and personal expression by buying secondhand! Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the piece as much as I enjoyed creating it.
There are 6 copies of this print. It is 8x10 inches.
